Frequently asked

Jobs, careers & how GetJobsNews works

Is GetJobsNews a job board where I can apply for jobs?
No. GetJobsNews is an independent news and guidance publication, not a job board or recruiter. We do not post job listings, vacancies, results or “apply now” buttons. We explain how hiring works — the process, eligibility and timelines — so you can act with confidence and apply through the official portals yourself.
Does GetJobsNews charge money or guarantee a job?
Never. We do not charge for jobs and we cannot get anyone hired. If any person or website claims a GetJobsNews “paid placement” or asks for money to confirm a government or private job, it is a scam — no genuine recruiter or government body charges a fee to secure a job.
Where should I actually find and verify job notifications?
Only on the official portal of the recruiting body or department — for example UPSC, SSC, IBPS, the railway RRBs or your state Public Service Commission. Admit cards and results are published there too. Our articles explain how to read those notifications and what the eligibility really means.
Who writes GetJobsNews and can I trust it?
Every article is written by a named editor or staff writer with a job title and a beat you can check on their author page. We cite official sources, flag common scams, and correct mistakes openly. The aim is clear, honest reporting on India’s careers landscape — not hype.
What topics does GetJobsNews cover?
Six areas: Government Jobs, Private & Corporate Jobs, Exams & Results, Career Advice, Job Market & Trends, and Skills & Learning. Across all of them we focus on explaining how things work rather than listing openings.
